+Job Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree/Advanced Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent.
- Chartered professional qualifications as a member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in major civil or construction projects.
- Experience in the design of temporary works and/or permanent works.
- Familiarity with design software.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good speaking and writing skills in Chinese and English.
- Applicants who do not hold a chartered professional qualification may be considered as an Assistant Design Engineer.
- In a role supporting the site project team, prepare interim engineering designs, design reports, construction method descriptions and technical proposals.
- Submit design documents to Architectural Services Department for design and construction works.
- Attend live meetings.
- Reports to the Engineering Manager.
