Peak Kong Special Steel Co., Ltd. utilizes groundbreaking high-power laser welding (laser welding and laser hybrid welding) technology to fully realize the mass production and high-precision production of 316L / 1.4404 austenitic stainless steel structural profiles. This process is specifically optimized for “ultra-thick and ultra-large” structural profiles, fully meeting the stringent building and industrial standards of multiple countries, including the European Union (EN), the United States (ASTM), Japan (JIS), and the United Kingdom (BS).
As a low-carbon version of molybdenum-modified stainless steel, 316L (1.4404) is immune to grain boundary carbide deposition (sensitization). This allows it to maintain perfect corrosion resistance and mechanical properties even in heavy-duty ultra-thick welded components exceeding 30mm.

20kW Ultra-High Power Laser Self-Fuse Welding: Equipped with an ultra-high power laser of up to 20kW, it utilizes the “keyhole effect” to instantly vaporize the metal with high energy density laser, forming a stable and extremely deep hole, achieving deep penetration of 30mm ultra-thick plates in a single process.
3D laser welding is highly integrated with industrial robotics:Large-scale specialized 3D laser welding equipment, combined with precision multi-axis industrial robots, enables flexible processing of ultra-large workpieces, complex geometric cross-sections, or custom stainless steel profiles, with absolutely no welding spatter.
Minimal deformation and tight tolerances: Compared to conventional GMAW arc welding, laser self-fusion welding/filler wire welding has extremely low heat input and a very narrow heat-affected zone (HAZ). Even with heavy, large H-beams or universal beams, thermal deformation is minimized, maintaining extremely precise geometric tolerances.

Hollow Structure Profiles (Square Tubes/Flat Tubes/…) (Box girder). Peak Kong Special Steel’s welding team has passed the Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS) and TUV DNV audits. All oversized structural components come with official test certificates.

Offshore energy and marine facilities: Offshore oil drilling platforms, coastal wharves, breakwater structural frames.
Heavy industry and chemical/pharmaceutical plants: Large chemical storage tanks, wastewater treatment plant load-bearing frames, high-cleanliness heavy steel structures for pharmaceutical plants
Nuclear power and power generation infrastructure: Corrosion-resistant, high-tensile-strength, and low/high-temperature resistant key support structures inside nuclear power plants.
To provide you with the most precise laser welding process or quotation for your project, please tell me: What are the specific flange and web thicknesses and cross-sectional dimensions of the ultra-thick and ultra-large profiles required for your project? Are there any specific requirements for single-piece length or special non-standard geometric section designs? Which international delivery standard (e.g., EN, ASTM, or BS) should be prioritized for this procurement?
Please feel free to contact us for product and technical documents.
